Councilwoman Howard Plans to….

• Secure funding for Drainage and Infrastructure projects near the 19th street and 10th ave area and support the City Wide drainage upgrades
• Expand the MLK/Jack Warner improvements to include sidewalk and lighting upgrades.
• Connectivity is imperative!!! In addition to the Ash Street Sidewalk project, expand the sidewalk project to include Pine Street, and Elm street
• Continue the beatification process throughout West Tuscaloosa, to include decorative lights in needed areas.
• Continue to collaborate with businesses in the Kaulton Park area to help with the beautification process
• Phase two of the McDonald Hughes Center has been long anticipated by the community and will become a reality with a 7.8 million dollar investment from Elevate in 2028; providing even more amenities and jobs for our youth while improving the quality of life.
• Add additional parking at the McDonald Hughes Center
